At least once a week I get either an email or a comment left here on my website asking me about Traditional Scrapbooking and WHY I don’t do more of it? If I MISS doing it? or if I COULD do more of it?

Episode 424 – Project Life or Traditional Scrapbooking

Here are some photos of Danelle’s Wedding Album!

There is ALOT of work going into this project and I am so happy to be doing it!

Over the next weeks I will keep be featuring this project on my website, I will be sharing with you not only the Progress we are making but also what PRODUCTS I’m using to complete this Album!

This is how we began putting together her Wedding Scrapbook! I’ve been collecting products since her wedding back in May of 2012

We started by sorting everything, Designer Paper, Embellishments, page protectors and pictures!
Here are a few of the products that we are using! You can click on the title of the products if you are interested in purchasing them.
The Pattern Designer Paper is from Stampin’ Up and it was from Sale-A-Brations a few years ago, it is called “Enchantment”
It had been on the CLEARANCE RACK for along time, but its gone now 🙁

We are using very basic, simple colors to compliment her photos and the colors of her wedding.

Stampin’ Up Early Espresso 12×12 Cardstock

We started by decided what order we put the Album together.
We are going to do Albums altogether.
The first Album will contain everything from the Engagement story, Bridal Shower all the way to the rehearsal dinner!
{We might include the Honeymoon in this album as well.}
The Second Album will have JUST the Wedding!

I will be using this album: We R Memory Keeper’s Album

Of course I’m using ALL Becky Higgin’s Page Protectors

{I simply ADORE her products, they are amazing and you can get them for a really great price}

I’ve used Design A, Design C & Design D and then of course we have used 12×12 Regular Page Protectors.

As I said above we are just getting the layout of the album together and I’m planning on going back and making it look very pretty!!

I also am planning on getting 12×12 photo’s printed to for a few places!

Danelle started by printing around 300 photos for us to work with, as we have been placing these in the album and going through the process we are finding that we NEED alot more photos.
She had over 3000 photos all together, so we have a TON of different choices.
After two days of working on this she had a list of prints that she went ahead and ordered, they should be here next week.
I personal use SNAPFISH to print my photos when I send them out to get printed – You can visit them here: www.snapfish.com  this last week they had penny prints if used promo code: SEPTPRINTS

Danelle also has a TON of memorabilia that we have been working into layouts!
I’m also creating a “Memory” Box for her to store what will not fit into the albums which will match the design of the albums.

We choose to use a few inserts for events such as opening gifts at the Bridal Shower because there were SO MANY photos of her opening gifts. However there was one gift that she opened.
Her Aunt Maria gave her a card and inside was a photo of Danelle when she was about 5 years old at Maria’s Wedding crying (she was the flower girl and had a bit of melt down) and then Maria’s gift made Danelle turn red! It was very funny, and very much a “Aunt Maria” moment!!!
And so we highlighted that moment by creating a 12×12 page for it.

LONGEST POST EVER right!!!!!!!! This is where we ended and we have plans together this week and work on it some more!
