Project Life Update!

Is there anything better than this thought – Everyday moments! I still adore not only the “idea” of capturing everyday moments but the process of documenting those moments!!!!!
The last few months our home has been going through a HUGE amount of transition, from My Husband starting a new job to Kayla heading to Public School!!!!!!
All of these changes have been amazing for our family and through it all I’ve been taking photos!
I just hadn’t had alot of time to put them in my album!
Project Life Update:

If you are following me on FACEBOOK than you will remember a few weeks back I posted that I was able to get all my journaling finished and I put the last touches on Jan – June’s album so I  could get it out of my craft room and into our living room!
That felt amazing, this is the first year that I’ve been able to do that! In years past my albums are never “finished”.
I really feel like I have a good system with Project Life! Its only taken me 4 full years of doing it to settle into something that works well for me.

Project Life Family Album – July & August!
You can see that for July I haven’t done any of my journaling yet, I will go back and do that in a few weeks.
I always wait for the “mood” to strike me and the I just sit one night and do it all.
I have more inserts for July – September than any other months this year!
In July I have 5 – I thought I would share this insert of the 4th of July with you now and then during the Project Life Blog Hop I will share the rest with you.

This is my calendar insert and the Stats of my Stampin’ Up Business because our “year” for Stampin’ Up ends June 30th!
Project Life Calendar Insert

For all of July I used Stampin’ Up Designer Paper that is now retired.

August:
I decided to use a Becky Higgins Core Kit for the month of August!
I used my favorite core kit “Clementine”
What works creatively for me is if I use one item for each month.
I will either use one core kit for the entire month or I will use Designer paper for one month.
This allows me to be and feel creative and change things up but allow my album to have a cohesive pulled together look.
