DIY Happy Birthday Cards

At the beginning of the year, every single year I decided “This will be the year I get out Birthday & Anniversary Cards to all my friends and family!”
And I even proclaim that they will be on time!!!

This seems like a very reasonable goal, after all card making is my job description!
It really shouldn’t be that hard!
Yet every year it NEVER HAPPENS!!!!!

And of course this year I had the same goal….  so I thought I would update you on this goal!
For all of January I did get all Birthday Day cards & Anniversary Cards out!!
Okay – I admit …. that is a small lie. I have 1 birthday card still sitting in my planner that needs an address! No worries I will get in the mail!!!

And as we start February and I still have this goal very much at the top of my to do list so I thought thought I would share with you some Birthday cards I’ve put together!

This month is going to be a little bit Birthday Themed since I’m running pretty low on these kinds of cards!!!

Happy Birthday Card:

I used the this sketch from: Freshly Made Sketches

This site is one of my favorite sites for Sketches. I love that they keep most of the sketches simple and straight forward!

It was wonderful to see these samples from the Stampin’ Up Leadership Conference a few weeks back.
I loved the use of our Birthday Bash Designer Paper from the Occasions Catalog

Happy Birthday Cards (Samples from Stampin’ Up Leadership)
I know that I have been using this stamp set a ton over the last few week and I hope you are not growing tired of it!
I think this is one of my favorite birthday stamp sets I have had from Stampin’ Up!

These shaker cards are all the rage these days and I just don’t know if I have the courage to try one!

How much do you love the Birthday Bash Designer Paper
It is the perfect Birthday paper!!

Of course you have to love the Curvy Keepsake Treat Box!!! It is so cute and goes great with any special occasions! Make sure you check out my Pinterest board HERE where I have a TON of idea for using that cute die!
