For me a Childhood Album is one of the most intimidating albums to take on!
I mean after all our family album is easy to put together… it is our life!
A baby album SUPER easy to put together… its a bunch of “baby” stuff!
However as my children move from babyhood/toddlerhood to Childhood what and how I put
together their albums have overwhelmed me!
Project Life Childhood Album Completed:
Kayla’s album is the very first “FULL” 12×12 Project Life “style” album I’ve put together for one of my children.
I have been excited to see that 2 full years have fit into one album and that is with ALOT of additional pages and inserts with projects!
This album has been a work in progress for the last 2 years and I am I am over the moon that Kayla has started getting more and more involved with what goes in her album.
One of the things that I love to include in any of our albums are large photos.
This next year I am going to finally try and 12×12 photos!
Kayla’s New Title Page for 2015:
As I mentioned in my video I do not have album yet for Kayla, we have picked out an album
we are just waiting for the price to drop!
I have began setting up the album so that I can still get photos into it and work on it without the album.
I’m looking forward to seeing how this album will be turn out!
Kayla is getting much more involved in her album and what goes in it.
I’ve never expected that any of my children would want to be involved in a hobby that I love so much!
I understand its my hobby and they may or maybe not want to be apart of it as they get old.
I am so excited to see Kayla really take getting interested in documenting the things that happen in her life!
Project Life Albums:
We Are Memory Keepers has great albums and these are the ones that I always look for.
I get mine at 2 different places – I either pick them up at Target for $19.99 or I at Michaels.
At Michaels they are $29.99 however I either use a 40% or 50% coupon or I get the albums when they are buy one get one free!
The other great place to find albums is on Amazon – HERE
Project Life Supplies For Kayla’s Album:
The Album is the only thing I have had to purchase for her album, I already had both the Design A page protectors on and hand as well as the 12×12 Envelopes!
All I will need to do is get photos printed and drop them in the pages.
{Project Life Tip:}
Always print your photos at the same place!
I use www.snapfish.com and because its online and I have to upload my photos it also serves as a backup method.
Now this is not my only backup method and its really not my #1 backup method!
However it does work when I’ve lost photos on a computer and needed to access older items!
