It has only been in recent months that I have started really getting interested in Watercoloring.
I am still so super new to this form of creativity!! and I don’t think I’m at all good at it!
However that is sort of the great thing about Watercoloring!
You get to play with color and make something and every time you create something it looks different!
And others can’t really tell if you its right or wrong!
This is still something that is so new to me, and I’m not that great at it However I am enjoying it,
so I thought I would start showing my process!
I’ve already had some great ideas on how to step this card up and fix some of the things I don’t like about it.
Stampin’ Up Yellow Watercolor Card:
I don’t always think to put more than 1 or 2 layers of cardstock on my cards, I’m not sure why I don’t think about I just don’t.
However… I think this card could use a few more layers of color and it would help out the over all look.
I also think using some silver sequins instead would have made a huge difference.
The card didn’t turned out how I wanted it too, but I thought I would go with anyways! It was a really good first try and now I have some ideas of what I can do next time.
Here are some of the NON-Stampin’ Up Watercoloring Products I’ve been using: Most of the time if I’m in need of any other supplies that are not Stampin’ Up I use amazon.com. You can get ANYTHING and it ships right to you! Here are a few items I have picked up:
(The one I got was a little cheaper than this one listed, I only paid $12.00)
Watercolor Inspiration: I’ve been seeing some really amazing watercolor cards on youtube and they are so inspiring! You can check out this one from Kristina Werner:
Watercolor Trees – Wendy over at Luvin Stampin’ does really great watercolor cards! This is one she did back at Christmas time that I loved!
What do you think????What do you think this card could use more of? or maybe less of? I already have a few ideas and in the next few weeks I will show you have I take this idea and fix it up!
