3 Ways To Complete Your Project Life Journaling On Your Computer

I have talked about journaling many times here on my website and in videos on youtube. It is one of things that I find to be the hardest to do when I sit down to work on my Project Life Album. It is not only the topics of what to cover when journaling, but it is also HOW to get the journaling into my album.

If you happen to be someone who doesn’t care for the way your handwriting looks than I know you have tried finding different ways to still get your journaling into your albums.

I believe its really important to make sure you do get some of your own hand writing into your Project Life Albums as you are documenting you story! Just like everything else in the process of documenting YOUR HANDWRITING is part of YOUR STORY!

This is a question I get asked all the time and it is one of the easiest things you can do. It may seem like its a hard task to tackle but it really is a simple process! HOW DO you journal for your Project Life Album on your computer?

I am a lover of fonts! I have more fonts on my computer than I will ever use! I even go as far as to back them up so I will NEVER lose them.

I have put together for you the Ultimate Guide To Everyday Journaling. You will find 12 of my favorite fonts for journaling along with the 2 places I always go to download fonts I love.

One of the easiest ways you could do your journaling without having to write it out is by using the Project Life App. Now this way will cost you a little bit of money. You will need to purchase the App {As of June 2015 this App is only available for Apple Products}

Then you will need to purchase at least one of the Kits in the App. They range from .99 cents to $1.99

Now you will be able to pick a card and add journaling. You will find a tutorial on how to do this HERE

Just in case these 2 methods don’t seem like they will work for you here are 2 other methods I found that you can take a look at.

Sarah from “Becoming Martha” has a great information and even does screen shots to help you understand each step. The method she use is great, however I feel like its a too many steps for what works best for me.

Look at how beautiful her journaling is. It really adds an amazing element to her album. I love it!

This process from this WEBSITE is a little bit more involved and includes working with Photoshop and running your Project Life Cards directly through your printer one at at time.

I love the way this looks but again I’m not willing to spend so much time in front of my computer.

While I don’t always LOVE the way my handwriting looks 60% of the time its what I use in my Project Life Album simply because it is the QUICKEST and EASIEST! My goal is always to stay on top of the 5 Project Life Albums I do each year.

Sometimes that means accept less than perfection from myself!
