Project Life Wedding Layout – More Tips & Tricks

Project Life Layout Using Design G

I’m excited to be sharing with you some more of Danelle’s Wedding Album. I’m finally starting to make progress on this project and I know she is so happy to finally be seeing her Albums coming together.

My video for todays posts REALLY long! Its one of the longest videos I’ve done for the series. I want to make sure I am answer all of your questions so that you can tackle the Project Life Albums that you are working on.

The process that I am sharing with you will work ANY album type you are working on. It could be a Heritage album, Childhood Albums or Past Family or Personal Albums.

Picking your product {Designer Paper, Embellishments & even Color Scheme} is going to be the next big step to tackle when taking a project that so big.

It will work best if you keep it simple! Simple theme, Simple Products.
I suggest starting by picking out 3 – 4 COLORS to work with. I like to pick my colors based TYPE of project and PHOTOS!

  1. Danelle’s Wedding Album we are using: Redish/Orange (Poppy Parade), Dark Brown {Early Espresso} Cream {Very Vanilla} – Those are the 3 main colors. Splashes of Light Blue {Soft Sky} & Light Yellow {So Saffron} were also used.
  2. My Wedding Album: I used Black {Basic Black}, Grey {Basic Grey, Smokey Slate} & Pink {Melon Mambo, Pretty in Pink, Blushing Bride}
  3. Andrew’s Baby Album: Brown {Chocolate Chip or Early Espress0}, Blues {Bermuda Bay, Pool Party}

Once you have the colors picked you can begin to look for designer paper to use for your project. In my video below I talk about how to tackle the design issue in your album.

It had been quite a few months since we had worked on the album so it did take a little bit of time to get back into the swing of getting these layout done.

Always keep the end in mind!

It is IMPORTANT to remember that when you are working on a album of this size you are going to have make sure you go back and looking through the work you’ve already done so that you can always be reminded of HOW you want your album to look in the end!

Wedding Scrapbook Layout

It worked perfectly that Danelle liked some of the Stampin’ Up Paper that was on the Clearance Rack at the time because it was already discounted and then I was able to save even more because I was able to use my Stampin’ Up Discount.

She also liked some of the current paper we had. I just stocked up on as much of it I could and so far we think that we will have enough!
