I can’t believe that I have 2 little girls getting ready to go to school in less than a week. I was hoping that as each year passed it would get easier to see them growing up but it just is not getting any easier!
Growing up I always thought I would Homeschool my kids and as I’ve realized that is not in the cards for our family I have worked hard to embrace the path we are on.
One of the things I LOVE about my kids going to public school is being able to make back to school teacher gifts and class favors.
Growing up I had a awful experience in public school. I was tortured every single day and I hated it. My mom was a single mom and didn’t get too involved in our schooling. We simply went to school from 7:30 – 3:00 and that was the end of it.
I have a huge desire to be very involved with my kids in school and making these gifts for the teachers and creating goodies for the kids is so much fun for me! I truly enjoy it.

How much do you love these flowers? They are beautiful! However… yes the did take a good amount of time to put together. These flowers came from the a Stampin’ Up Kit that was sold in last years Occasions Catalog and I never had the courage or a REAL reason to try and put these together.
I had to watch a few videos to figure out to put this together. I first watched Stampin’ Up Videos HERE and then I found this great video on how to put together the 3 flowers I used. You can find that HERE
The cute little yellow mason jar were found at Target in the Dollar Spot. They were each $3 and I filled with candy. I will also make sure that I give the each of the teachers the lid to jars in case the want to use them for something else.
I always love getting a out my Cricut and creating goodie bags and treats for the kids classmates. I’m not sure how many kids are going to be in each class so I started out by make 36.
One of my favorite things about Stampin’ Up Product is how well the paper works in my Cricut. I’ve had my Cricut for almost 8 years now and I have found that when you use high quality cardstock with it.
