I’ve been wanting to share this post with you for some time! It truly is one of my favorite things, and these items I use on a daily bases.

Finding a planner system is deeply personal!

I’ve spent many hours trying to figure out what works best for me. I hope some of these ideas will help you, and I would love for you to share your planners, and planner systems with me.

Use the #KMFavoritesPlanners when posting on Social Media so I can check them out.

{My Favorite Things | Planners, Notebooks & Pens}

{Erin Condren Planner}

I tend to do a little decorating, but use my decorating to be “functional”

Here is a monthly spread, which is a mix of business and personal.

Here is a weekly layout. I set these weeks up for several months in advance, this way I’m not wasting time every week doing it.

I always suggest setting items up in advance for 2 months or so. This way if you find the layout doesn’t work for you your not stuck with an entire year already marked up.

Also remember that life changes, your needs for your planner may change down the road!

{Becky Higgins Notebooks}

Yep, I’m huge fan of Becky Higgins for pretty much anything these days. I joke that on must days I’m a walking infomercial for her. While friends refer to me as a “Becky Higgins Stocker” but that is a topic for another day.

For today lets chat about these amazing notebooks.

Yes, they are my favorite! Hands down the best! I haven’t purchased another notebook since Becky came out with her line of them.

Mostly because the size is perfect. I love that this notebook fits right on top of my planner! It is a match made in heaven.

And… For real the quality of these notebooks are perfection.

I would love to find these Notebooks in Target someday, but for now you can click HERE to head over to Becky’s website and check out the line of notebooks she has.

{Content Planner}

The planner I was using, and featuring in my video is the one I found on Amazon for $10.00. The concept of the planner was perfect, it just lacked a few things!

These planners on amazon are a fantastic option. I’ve listed a few of the ones that are my favorite. The prices may vary depending on when you are looking at them, where you live, and weather or not you have amazon prime.

Here is how I use the monthly view of my Content planner!

Here is how I use the Weekly view in my Content Planner!

Between filming this video, and sharing it I found a Recollections Planner that I got at Michales for $20.00

Here are a few thoughts about this planner, and a few things to note regarding the design, and price of these planers.

First, these planners are basically the exact same things as the Erin Condren planners. The covers are not interchangeable, however you can make them to interchangeable, and they are slightly larger than the Erin Condren Planner cover.

However, everything else is the SAME!

These have a great coil, the layouts are the same, and the function of them are the same. These are MUCH cheaper than the Erin Condren planners.

While they have beautiful covers that I love, The reason that I have I not switched to these planner is because the layout colors, and designs inside the planner don’t seem to work for me.

I have always liked the Neutral Color Scheme and they way the layout works in the Erin Condren.

As the Recollections Brand has started expand if you have the time to dig through all the planners at Michaels you might be able to find the layout, and color scheme that will work best for you.

I was able to find this beautiful planner, all the tabs are brown color, and the colors inside the planner are very subtle.

I purchased a Horizontal Layout, and made sure that the weekly layout had lines that I could write on.

Both the monthly view, and weekly view have very little color, or design which is perfect for me.

I think this is a great option for the price! I was able to use a coupon and get 40% which off which meant the planner was less than $20.00! I’ve decide to use this planner for my content planning, maybe even going forward my team planner.

I will full admit that the price on the Erin Condren planner is CRAZY!!!!! Not everyone wants to spend $70.00 on a planner each year.

{Fun Accessories}

There are a number of things that I use in my planners to help me stay organized. I use these extra fun items in a very functional way. Please note that I do use referral links when possible.

  • Paper Mate Inkjoy Gel .05 pens – By far my most recent favorite pens. The link I’m sharing with you is from amazon because that is the only place I can find .05 pen tip, however you can find these at Walmart, or Target in the .07 tip.
  • Zebra Mildliner Highlighters – I’m in LOVE with these! You can also find these at Target, look in the school section right now to find them.
  • Avery 5418 Small Square Labels – These are amazing, and you will be able to move these around since they have a removable adhesive.

{Stampin’ UP Planner}

I’m always honest in my reviews of product, and in sharing why I use something, or in this case don’t use something.

I LOVE the Stampin’ UP! planner this year, it is beautiful!

I would use it in a heartbeat for my content planner if the weekly layout had LINES!!!!

So instead of using this planner in the traditional way, I’ve decided to use this planner with my team from Stampin’ UP!

We are using this as a gratitude planner, and focusing on lots different areas in our life!

STAMPIN UP SUPPLIES
