Project Life – The Big Change

For years I have loved creating a Family Yearbook using the Project Life system.

I’ve tracking my Family Year book from a weekly layout set up.

This means each week I take 7-10 photos to feature. I’ve always used a the standard Design A page protector.

Each month I set up my foundation pages using either designer paper, or a core kit from Becky Higgins.

Well, I have been feeling like I need to switch things up a little bit, and so I have decided to make the big change from weekly to monthly.

I’m excited about this change, but I’m also a little nervous.

The reason I’ve been able to keep up with this project is because I have a solid systems that works for me.

Now as I switch things up I’m feeling like I’m going to have to work harder over the next few months to figure out a new system.

I know once I settle into a new routine, and figure a few things out It will be worth the work to figure it out!

I want to be able to focus more on a few stories from the month that I can highlight.

Another great benefit to switching this up is I feel like the entire year will fit into one album.

One of my favorite things about switching from weekly to monthly is being able use larger photos in my album.

In August I highlighted some of the beautiful sunsets we were experiencing, the other story I highlighted was the fires we are seeing here in California.

I would love to invite you to join me over on my Life Simple Documented site.
