The Flowering Cactus has got to be in my top 3 favorite of all time. The colors, and images are beautiful.
I had the best time creating these 3 cards to share with you today.
I created three different cards using the paper, stamp set, and die.
These super cute dies fit in the Stampin Cut, and Emboss Mini Machine. This makes putting these cards together even easier.
You can either use the stamp set to stamp the images, or just cut out the images from the designer paper.
Using the images on the designer paper is a quick and easy way to get multiply cards done.
Below I have shared each of the cards I made, along with measurements, and instructions.
These cards are so easy to put together. You can even tweak the designs a little to create your own card designs.
Card #1 – Cactus Birthday Hope:
- Card Base – 8-1/2″ x 1″, Cut at 4-1/4″, Score at 5-1/2″
- First Layer – 4″ x 5-1/4″
- Second Layer – designer strip 1-1/2″ x 5-1/2″
- Crumb Cake Square – 3-3/4″ x 3-3/4″
- Designer Paper Square – 3-1/2″ x 3-1/2″
Use the So Sweetly Stitched to stamp your sentiment, and layer your dies.
Card #2 – Cactus Heart Birthday
- Card Base Crumb Cake – 8-1/2″ x 1″, Cut at 4-1/4″, Score at 5-1/2″
- First Layer Designer Paper – 4″ x 5-1/4″
- Calypso Coral Square – 3-1/4″ x 3-1/4″
- Designer paper Square – 3″ x 3″
- Designer Paper Flagged Strip – 1″ x 4″
Use a white stitched circle to layer dies on, and layer sentiment with black die.
Card #3 – Simple Cactus Friendship
- Card Base – 8-1/2″ x 1″, Cut at 4-1/4″, Score at 5-1/2″
- First Layer – 4″ x 5-1/4″
- Highland Heather Layer – 4-1/4″ x 3-1/2″
- Designer Paper Strips – 1-1/4″ x 3-1/4″
Use a Stitched Nestled Die to stamp sentiment, and layer die cuts.
