I’m so glad to be back to sharing some of the spaces in my studio with you.
Today I wanted to share the wall of cubes that sit directly behind me when I’m at my island crafting, or filming.
This wall of cubes is where my vision for the redo of the layout of my room started.
I always knew I wanted to have a long row of cubes that would help me keep more of my stuff organized.
One of the first things I did when we start the craft room redo is to go through everything in my space, and purge what I didn’t want. I knew that most of the supplies I kept would be filter into this cube system.
The ClosetMaid Cubes where the perfect system to put along this wall.
There are several different sizes of the cubes so it was easy to get the right amount to run along the wall.
Once I had the cubes set up I needed to add the some kind of bine to each square. There are several different options you can go with.
I choose to add Fabric bins that are popular choice for these type of bins.
The best deal I could find was on amazon. I was able to get a pack of 8 and they had several different colors. I choose Black & Teal to match my room.
You can find the ones I purchased HERE on amazon.
It took me a few months to really figure out what I wanted in these cubes, and how I wanted organize them. I changed things around several times before settling on where everything was.
Once I settled on what was in the all the bins I decided to label them. I used velcro, black card stock and a white gel pen.
I decided to leave some of the cubes open so that I could store things I needed to access while crafting such as card stock, fun foam, and my 6×6 designer paper.
There are a few other spaces that I still have to share with you.
Once I’ve shared all the spaces in my studio I will do an overview of the entire room.
I hope you enjoyed seeing this space, I enjoy sharing it with you. I will be back next week with new projects.
