Every Monday at 11am I hop onto my Facebook Page HERE to share a project with you. I’ve been doing a little updating for my Creative Live Monday’s, and I’m excited to dive into these new projects with you.
Each week on my Creative Lives I will be sharing a Simple Card with a fun technique. This is Project #1 for this series.
Let’s get this party started with a fun summer color combo.
Using a color combo to create a card is a great way to get a out of a creative slump.
I headed over to Pinterest and did a search for “Summer Color Combos” and the photo of the Ice Cream Cones came up.
It is always so much fun to connect with everyone on Facebook.
My favorite part is getting others in put on how the card, or project is turning out.
I have created a PDF with all the measurements, instructions, and supplies I used that you can download and print.
These cards ended up coming out much different my original plan. I thought my favorite one was going to be the one with the banner shapes.
It turns out I really love the one that I used the rectangle die on. this happens to be the one I created using the left over strips of designer paper.
It was also the one I didn’t create on camera unfortunately.
You can purchase any of these products I used on today’s projects in my online store HERE, or by clicking on the photos below.
This month I have several giveaways for all you who are placing Stampin Up orders with me. I love rewarding those who purchase place orders with me.
There are a few other items that I used on today’s project that Stampin Up doesn’t carry. Click on the product to purchase these items.
- Glossy Accents – I used this to put over the black hearts, and create the mini “water drops” and the card we made on camera today.
- Small Heart Dies – These are the closest thing I could find the small heart die that I have.
- Glitter Spray – This stuff is amazing. It comes and Gold and Silver as well. It is what made my second card sparkle.
Thank you for stopping by today and hanging out with.
