Today I wanted to share with you how I pre-prep my scrapbooking layouts to not only save time, but set me up for success.
I know that it can be hard for me to find the time to sit down and do any kind of memory keeping.
Anything I can do to help set myself up for success with my memory keeping I try and do.
The first thing I do once I get a stack of photos printed is sort them into sets.
Once I have these photos sorted I pair them with pattern paper, embellishments, or stamps. These are the items I want to use for that layout.
All the items go into these 13×15 zip lock bags.
I love thee Multi Purpose Bins from the Container store. I’ve organized all of my pattern paper in them, along with my 12×12 Cardstock in them as well.
The container store has several different sizes you can choice from.
Item’s I Used:
- Multi-Purpose Bins – These the best bins I have ever found.
- 13×15 Ziplock Bags – These are nice because they are a little bit bigger than 12×12 so lots of items can fit in them.
I often hear from others that they don’t have time to scrapbook or get into memory keeping, and I understand that is a very real struggle.
While there are always going to be struggles in finding time you can find little steps to help make it easier.
I hope you enjoyed this tip today! Make sure you come back next Friday to see my Project Life Album for 2021.
Getting started! There are SO many pictures and it’s overwhelming to know where to start. This past year and a half it has been my job to make a scrapbook for a group I belong to and that has helped me a lot because I only have the pictures for that group and it isn’t so much that I feel like I will never finish it. I also struggle with actually getting things printed. I recently sent an order to Snapfish on your recommendation and that worked great. I need to make another order! I think one of the hard things is that I always feel so behind! Always trying to catch up and I never will!
