Quick & Cute Set Of Cards

For this set of quick and cute cards I will be using the Abstract Beautiful Designer Paper, along with the card and envelope set.

This product totally reminds me of the 80’s. It is bold, and it is bright! The Simple splashes of gold are perfect.

I was able to take the 4×6 paper which is a new size for Stampin Up, and pair it with the Card Envelope set to create this set of cards in under 30 minutes.

The best feature of this set of cards is the matching envelopes. It is a feature I love because it is no extra work on part to pull this project together.

Quick & Cute Set Of Cards

For this entire set of cards I only used 4 pieces of the abstract beauty designer paper, and one stamp set.

You could add more dazzle to this card by using the Abstract Beauty Ephemera Pack.

Card #1 – Your Friendship

I normally don’t like adding Ribbon behind a sentiment, but in this case it worked out well.

Just remember to press that adhesive down into the ribbon to help it hold it down. I find that dimensional work the best for this technique.

Card #2 – Seriously Here For You

The background of this card base I amazing. It looks like a watercoloring paint stroke. I picked the the black and pink envelope to pull together the design.

The Gold in the pattern paper, and the pink ticket tag behind the sentiment work perfectly together. If you wanted to step this card up a tiny bit you could stamp the sentiment in gold embossing powder.

Card #3 – Thanks For Being My Person

Another amazing item in this Suite Collection is the adhesive back hexagons. One this card I used the light pink ones.

At first I wasn’t sure about the shape, I thought it might throw off the look of the card. I was surprised, and delighted to see it worked well with the pattern paper.

Card #4 – One Minute

Quick & Cute Set Of Cards

This card turned out great, but it is my least favorite. I think it is the black flowers I used on it.

I feel like It might have been better if I had used a different embellishment, but I’m not sure what would have worked better.

Leave me a comment below and let me know what you have used instead of the flower punch.
