Using Blending Brushes With Stencils

I’m not great at trying out new techniques when it comes to card making. When I sit down to crate a card I pretty much just want to get it done. This is why most of the cards you see from me are basic.

It is not that I don’t like making cards, I just want to get it done.

However, every now and again I see a card that I want to make that requires me to try something new.

This is what happened with today’s project. I saw Gina K create a card and I wanted to try it out.

During my live on Facebook you will see that it took me a good tries to figure out to make it work. In the end it did work out, and I liked the card but it wasn’t what I had envisioned.

I love the Stampin Up Blending Brushes. They are really simple to use.

The great thing is you don’t really need a brush for every ink pad you have. Most of the time you can use a brush for generally all the blues you have.

Blending with these types of brushes is something I would like to try again.
