If you are have been in the memory keeping world for awhile you might have heard of the Week In The Life Project that is hosted by Ali Edwards.
This is one my favorite projects that I do each year. There is alot of work that goes into both the documenting part of the project, as well as putting the project together.
However, it is one of my favorite memory keeping projects to look back on.
This year Ali Edwards did her documenting in July, I decided to stick to doing the week of documenting in May.
I wanted to documented what it was like to have Violet and Andrew sill in Elementary School, while Kayla was in middle school.
I knew that once summer was over our life would look very different, and I’m so glad I documented the week I did.
Getting Started With This Project:
All of my memory keeping projects have a blend of products from Ali Edwards, and Stampin Up.
This week in the life album is no different. The album, and main products from Ali Edwards, however the pattern paper, cardstock, and inks are from Stampin Up.
I was going to use the 10×8 album which would have been a new size to me, however at the last minute I switched to the yellow 6×8 album.
The yellow album, and dividers are my favorite part of this project when it comes to the products.
As I mentioned in my video I tend to stick with a set formula when setting up my page protectors.
I love the journaling box at the end of each day. It is a great summery for what is happening in our home, and in our life.
It couldn’t have worked out better to use the Stampin Up Host Paper Design A Day Dream for this project.
The colors match Ali’s Week In The Life Product perfectly. I have found over the years that Stampin Up Product often matches other crafty product lines really well.
These are always the projects that I tend to get my Cricut Joy out to play with a little bit.
For this project I used my Cricut Joy to cut out some letters. I’m not sure if I will leave this like this or not.
I’m slightly disappointed that I didn’t take more photos through out the week I was documenting.
Honestly there were just moments I forgot that I was doing week in the life.
By the time we got to Friday I realized that I had very few photos.
