It is that time of the year when I’m ready to wrap up my January 2022 – June 2022 album up, and move into my second album for the year.
Over the years I have tried to fit the entire year into one Project Life album. It simply never works out.
I’ve come to realize that I would rather have two albums a year, than worry about the what or how I’m documenting my everyday moments.
Here is my first album and as you can see it is pretty full.
What I have noticed over the years is that my first album of the year is always thicker than my second album.
This is most likely because I tend to document the month of December in a mini album.
I love the way my title page came out for this year. I had a vision of using this beautiful vellum from Stampin Up.
It paired perfectly with some camera pattern paper that had these beautiful cameras on it. I wish I could find that paper again, it is one of my favorites.
As I mentioned before I document by the month. Normally using two design A page protectors from Becky Higgins.
Then everything in between those two page protectors is anything extra from the month I want to document.
I get asked about the calendars in my albums all the time. These are so simple, but serve a perfect purpose.
I record a few items that are happening throughout the month, and then the back side holds extra items I want to keep.
To find a calendar each year I simple google “Free Printable 2022 Calendar” I always find something that works well each month.
I love the layout that I have done for Stories Of Home this year.
Each year inside my membership group Life Simply Documented we dive into documented stories about our home.

The last month in the first album for the year is June. I used some pattern paper from a paper stack I had on hand.
Look at how perfectly that divider matches that patten paper. It is perfect.
You can purchase any of the Stampin Up product I used in my online store HERE, or by clicking on the photos below.
Tomorrow I will be sharing a look at a fun organization product I was sent, and sharing my thoughts about it.
