I spent the month of January finishing up my December Daily Album for 2022.
This project turned out to be a bit harder to get into than I thought it would.
In my video, I walk through how I put the album together, and the stories I told this last Christmas.
This was the first time I did memory keeping in an 8-1/2 x 11 album.
One of my favorite things to do in my memory-keeping album is elements outside the pockets or pages.
I started this album out with a set of tags in a pocket I created using a Starbucks sleeve.
For my 2022 December Daily Album, I didn’t purchase anything new. I used all of my Echo Park Christmas Collections.
I was so excited to use up all of the Echo Park papers that I had on hand.
This album started out with a family picture in black and white which made the first-page pop.
I did several of the pages, along with the album cover in my Life Simple Documented Group. It would be awesome for you to join me in my membership group.
I don’t normally do a “Reason Why” page in any of my memory-keeping projects.
Mostly because I don’t have a deep reason why for memory keeping. I do these projects because I love them.
So instead I did a page documenting how much I love putting these projects together.
Another thing I love doing in my Memory Keeping Album is layering different size pages together.
I love the way these pages look sitting together.
This is my favorite page of my entire album.
I used the Alpha Dies from Stampin up that you can find HERE, along with a beautiful set of Alpha dies I picked up from Scrapbook.com HERE.
These letter dies are currently on sale, and at low inventor on scrapbook.com
This year I didn’t document one single story every day in December, instead, I just documented the Christmas stories I want to for the year.
One story I documented this year was the history of the Rockefeller Center.
I loved learning more about the History of the Christmas tree, and how it is put up each year.
My Holiday Decor seems to look different every single year and It is wonderful looking back through my albums and seeing how I’ve decorated in past years.
In this house, we have a love for Candy Canes and it is worth documenting.
Christmas stories around here are not only about Christmas Decor and gifts.
Sometimes the Christmas stories are about the love of coffee, and how they end up broken.
I’m so happy to finish this project and I’m ready to move on to other projects.
Products I used This Year For December Daily:
All of the products that I used I had in my stash, and most of the were from Echo Park. However, there were a few foundation products from Stampin Up I used.
You can find any of those products in my online store HERE, or by clicking on the photos below.
During Craftmas in December, I shared the start of this project. If you missed that you can check it out HERE.
I will be back next week with new projects.
