Project Life 2023 Completed Albums

I feel like shouting FINALLY! My Project Life 2023 Family is finally done.

This year it seemed like wrapping up the last few things in this album was harder than it has been in past years.

I wanted to share a full walkthrough of how this album ended up turning out.

For most of this album, you can find process videos of me sharing how I put that month together over on my YouTube Playlist HERE.

For the last few years, I have been putting my Project Life Family together by month. Currently, that is what is working for me.

There are times that I miss creating weekly spreads. However, I know it is not realistic for me to create that way.

I love getting large 12×12 photos into my album. I feel like they make such an amazing statement.

One question I get asked the most is HOW do I make this happen? While there are several ways you can go about this I choose the simple route of using the Project Life App.

I use the Project Life App by Becky Higgins for so many things on a regular basis.

The next thing you will notice about my albums this year is that I have started using my Monthly Calendar slightly differently.

I’m using them each month as a creative space, along with a way to document a few details from the month.

I’ve been able to dive into and use more of products such as paper, and stamps through this process.

Of course, I still love mixing traditional layouts with pocket pages. This is one of my favorite aspects of my Project Life albums.

Being able to still be creative with these beautiful traditional layouts that take more time, as well as staying caught up with my yearly project makes me so happy.

I love the way these pages look layered together.

For 2023 I used mostly Ali Edwards Stories Kit, along with some pattern paper that would match each month.

Ali Edwards’s products work best for my style, and I have been collecting her products for years.

June of 2023 is one of my favorite months from last year.

I thought would share June’s process video here since I loved it so much. Let me know what you think about how this layout turned out in the comments below.

The other great thing about using 12×12 photos, and the collage feature for Project Life is it makes getting your layouts done quick and easy.

In July there was so much going on, and I had so many photos I just leaned into using the Project Life App. I was able to get more photos into each layout this way.

It was fun attaching my ribbons from our local fair to this 12×12 photo. You can always use a 12×12 photo for the base of your layout.

This is a wonderful way to showcase pieces of your life.

Here is another great traditional layout. This one started as a double-sided layout. I ended up putting it back to back to make it fit in my album where I wanted it.

When it comes to September, October, November, and December I enjoy having a more seasonal, or holiday feel to months.

In the Fall I want to lean into all the fun, rich, regal colors that I love. Once Christmas draw nears I want to use all of the fun holiday items I have.

Do you craft by season? Is it easy to lean into all the crafty seasonal things?

December is always a little bit different as I do December Daily each year in a separate album.

I always end each Project Life Family Ablum with a simple overview of December.

I hope you enjoyed seeing this overview of my Project Life 2023 Album.
