☀️ July 6th – July 12th 😎
After spending weeks, and I do mean weeks in a perfect and most beautiful weather pattern where it was warm during the day, but not too hot. The windows could be opened as early as 6pm, and the nights were down in the mid 50s. The heat decided it was time to make an appearance.
I’m here once again to say I really really hate summer! Bring on crisp fall days.
Something else has been happening behind the scenes—quietly, like a little website fairy working after hours. You may or may not have noticed, but I’ve been doing some much-needed back-end tidying around here.
This past week, I officially removed all of my old card-making posts and photos from the site. Looking back on it all was a bit mind-blowing! 10 years of creative fun, and memories. But just like the feeling you get after a really good spring cleaning (you know, the kind where you suddenly want to label every drawer and light a candle?), that’s exactly how I feel about this little online space right now—refreshed, inspired, and ready for what’s next.
Making a little bit more room for one true love! Memory-Keeping, and documenting everyday moments.

I still have a few small things to wrap up from the first half of my album this year, but I was ready to dive into July and get it set up. Jumping ahead like this keeps my momentum going and helps me stay inspired for the long haul.
Having the next chapter ready to go is exactly what I need to keep showing up and making progress—one photo, one story at a time.
7/9 – Wednesday – Members Video // Week In The Life
This video was posted on Monday, instead of Wednesday but that is normally about how summer goes for me once the heat kicks in.
7/11 – Memory-Keeping Friday // Diving BACK into Kayla’s Project Life Albums
I didn’t take any photos of this part of the process—mostly because there just wasn’t anything all that exciting to capture. And that’s okay.
The beginning of a project is often the hardest part. It’s messy, uncertain, and full of decisions—figuring out what you have, what you need, and where to even begin. It may not be photo-worthy, but it’s necessary.
