I’ve been having the best time getting crafty again—it feels like a breath of fresh air.
For so long, I’ve been creating with a purpose or a deadline in mind, but lately I’ve given myself something even better: permission to just play. No rules, no pressure—just me, my favorite crafty goodies, and the simple joy of making.
It honestly feels like it’s been years since I’ve let myself create purely for the fun of it, and I can’t even tell you how good it feels to be back in that space. That is what you are going to see from me in my Creative Journal. A place to just be creative and play. Sometimes with photos, sometimes with memes.
I love the way this Creative Journal has come together. This is a project I’m not looking to “keep up with”. There may be days, or weeks were I am not creating in it.
I’m okay with that! It feels good to have a project where I don’t have to “keep up” with anything. There are no deadlines aheads.
If you’re on the hunt for the PET tape I’ve been using in this project, you’ve got to check out Heba’s collection from My Little Journal on YouTube! I snagged two of the PET tapes she released in September, and let me tell you—they are just as fun and beautiful as they look.
I’m also such a fan of her Scrappy Spiral Notebooks and stamps—they make every project feel extra special. I’m crossing my fingers she releases even more PET tapes in the future, because I’ll be first in line!
I hope you enjoyed this bonus project this week. I can’t wait to share more of my Project Life Album, My Autumn Memories & Gratitude Mini Album next week!
