December Daily 2023 Walk-Through

I’ve done December Daily now for many years. I love creating a 6×8 album every year and then displaying it with our Christmas decor throughout our home.

Most years I find it easy to complete by the end of December, while other years I put the finishing touches on the album during the month of January.

Last year I struggled to get this project done. Between Kayla’s first Musical which stretched through the month of December, and getting really sick the last few weeks of the month I just couldn’t make it happen.

I’m so happy with the way things are working this year as I work through the last few layouts of last year’s album I am able to be crafty and have fun while completing this year’s album digitally through the Project Life App.

December Daily is a project that I truly love doing. I don’t feel stressed to finish it or make it any certain way.

Something is amazing about being able to look back at past years even if I’m documenting the same traditions over and over.

December Daily has become part of our holiday traditions, and part of our holiday home decor.

December Daily – Story #5

When I first started doing these pages in a digital format at the beginning of the month I really wasn’t enjoying the process as much as I enjoy physically putting together memory-keeping pages.

However, after a few days of doing these pages this way, and finding my grove I have to say this was a great solution for me this year.

One of the things that I struggle with when making a mini album of any kind is wanting every single page to match.

I want the album to look cohesive, and put together. To me, that means everything has to match.

When you are doing pages in a digital format it can be hard to make sure everything perfectly matches. This year, while doing these pages I’ve found a way to let go of that need.

This is helping me embrace this type of memory-keeping, and I’m having fun putting these pages together. I use the website Creative Fabrica and it is amazing. I have a yearly subscription for less than $40 for the entire year and I have access to the entire website.
