Finding My Creative Mojo

Lately, I’ve found myself craving creativity in a whole new way. I want to stretch beyond what I’ve been doing and explore more ways to make, play, and create.

While I love my Family Project Life, and My Personal Project Life, and I have an amazing system to keep up on those projects they don’t always allow me to explore the creative process. They can be somewhat limiting.

This past year, I’ve been exploring different ways to tell my stories and add more fun to my memory-keeping. Today, I’m excited to share a peek at what that journey has looked like for me.

Along with a simple, playful project you can try too.

I’ve realized that while I adore my traditional 12×12 memory-keeping pages, they can feel a little overwhelming sometimes. It’s not just the size! It’s the page protectors, the extra product you end up needing, and the whole “where am I even going to put this thing?” situation.

And let’s be real—my poor stamped images often disappear on such a big canvas. Add in the time it takes to actually finish a layout. I sometimes it feels more like a marathon than a creative escape.

The great thing about memory-keeping these days is there are so many more ways we can document our stories. I love have fun with all the beautiful products I have collected, and honestly will continue to collect.

I tackled this project in a small 5×7 notebook I created. It is a project that didn’t take long to put together, and I was able to use some beautiful product I had on hand.

Mixing It Up:

Mixing things up with new memory-keeping styles has been such a joy! It’s given me a fresh spark of creativity, and I’m excited to keep experimenting with more simple, fun projects like this one.

I’d love to hear—what styles or projects are you excited to try in your own memory-keeping right now?
