I can not believe that we are starting a brand New Year! I still feel like December is just starting, but let’s not talk about that.
Let’s talk about all the crafty things I’m diving into this year. From my Project Life Family Album which is an oldie but goodie, to a brand new project that I’m in love with.
This year I just want to be creative and use all of the many products I have lying around this crafty room.
This year, I have several projects I’m excited to dive into and begin documenting. Each one holds a special place in my heart, but here’s the thing—not all of these projects will be worked on every day or even every month.
I’m embracing a simple, pressure-free approach to my memory-keeping. I’ll document what feels right in each project, working on them when the timing aligns and the inspiration flows. There’s no pressure to make them look a certain way or fit into a perfect timeline.
This year is all about letting go of expectations and leaning into creativity that feels natural and joyful. Whether it’s one story or ten, one moment captured or a whole season, I’m here to savor the process and enjoy the journey.
Project Life Family Album & Personal Album:
Since the early 2000s, creating a Project Life Family album has been a tradition I hold close to my heart. Year after year, these albums have become a time capsule of our lives—filled with big milestones, small everyday moments, and everything in between. I honestly can’t imagine not putting one together.
Maybe someday that will change, but for now, this tradition feels like home.
This year, I’m diving back into my Project Life Family album with a classic 12×12 format. There’s something so grounding about flipping through those pages, seeing our story unfold, and knowing that each little detail has a place. I’m excited to get started and share this journey with you all. Here’s to another year of memory-keeping magic!
One Little Word:
This year marks my 10th year of doing One Little Word, and what a journey it has been. Each year, I choose a single word to live with, reflect on, and let guide me through the months ahead. It’s a simple practice, but one that has brought me so much joy and unexpected growth.
This tradition has shaped me in ways I’m deeply thankful for, helping me to focus, reflect, and embrace life with intention. Every word becomes a companion—a quiet nudge, a steady reminder, and a source of inspiration. I’m excited to see where this year’s word will take me, and I can’t wait to continue this journey of growth and discovery.
