Today I am sharing crafty goodness with my planners.
For the last 14 years I have been a Erin Condren Planner Girl! Every April/May I order my new planner! The month of June I spend setting up the my new planner, and in July I dive in.
This is what I did this year. I decided to try out the Dashboard Layout and honestly all was good. Until it wasn’t. Something about all of it just wasn’t working.
Enter the Hobonichi Cousin which I got in late summer and started trying out.
I always believed that the two things that wouldn’t work for me with this planner was the book being bound and not on coils, and the very thin paper.
However, once I got it and started playing around in it I simply fell in love. I can’t wait to share with you how I’m setting up my planner system for 2026
I absolutely adore the way I have set up my 2026 planner. I’m using the Miss Kate Cuttable Pattern Paper which I picked up HERE. I picked up two sets on Amazon which turned out to be the same set, just put together a little differently.
I’m so glad that I picked up both sets, and I’m even considering picking up another set.
I also put together two notebooks using THESE notebooks which are my favorite. I use them for everything, and always have several on hand.
One will be a journaling, catch everything kind of notebook, and the other one will be my work planner.
I’m setting up my work planner just like I set up my crafty planner early this year. You can check out those deatils HERE.
also went a little wild personalizing the inside of this planner. I love turning my planner into a true working part of my life, and having certain pages and sections set up—whether I use them weekly or monthly—really helps my home and my life run so much smoother.
And yes, it takes a bit of time to get everything set up, but I don’t mind one bit. It’s creative, it’s enjoyable, and honestly, I love slowing down long enough to savor the process.
Figuring out different themes, adding color, and sprinkling in all the little details is truly part of the fun for me.
After all, my favorite things in the world are beautiful paper, good pens, and all the stickers! It’s such a joyful creative outlet, and I enjoy it so much.
