I’m always excited to start a new memory keeping project. Honestly, I think I might be even more excited about startingthan I am about finishing the entire thing.
Crazy, right? But there’s just something magical about a fresh start—the blank pages, the possibilities, the stories waiting to be told. And one of my absolute favorite projects to dive into each year is my Family Project Life yearly album.
Right now, my 2025 Project Life Family Album isn’t completely finished! I’m going with this.
I still need to work through November and December. The good news? I already have all the photos pulled for both months, so it’s really just a matter of sitting down and putting the pages together.
To fully wrap up December, I’ll also need to print a few items from the Project Life App. That said, this is something I always remind myself of—and something I want to remind you of too: keep going. Don’t wait to start a new project or a new album just because something else isn’t finished yet.
Memory keeping doesn’t have to be all-or-nothing. Progress can be messy, layered, and still incredibly meaningful.
I encourage you to lean into the process and don’t feel like everything has to be so perfect.
I also want to encourage you to edit the items you already have and make them work for you. In today’s project, I adjusted several of the products I used. Sometimes the color isn’t quite right or the sentiment isn’t a perfect fit.
Instead of letting that stop you, look for ways to tweak what you have. Trim it down, cover part of it, layer it, or pair it with something else. There’s no rule that says you have to use a product exactly as it comes.
Memory keeping is about making your supplies support your story—not the other way around.
Loving This Years Title Page:
After really struggling with what I wanted to do for a title page, the creative bug finally bit me—hard. Once the ideas started flowing, everything clicked.
Now I’m genuinely so happy with how the title page came out. Proof that sometimes you just have to wrestle with the mess before the magic shows up
