Simple & Fun Christmas Tags

Today I wanted to share some simple and fun Christmas Tags I created. This was a perfect way to get out my crafty supplies and create a little something festive!

One year for Christmas I created all the tags for gifts, and another year creating the tags was a fun Christmas activity my mom and I did.

Christmas tag sets are not just for decorating gifts—they also make thoughtful and unique presents! Imagine gifting a beautifully curated set of festive tags as a hostess gift at a Christmas party.

It’s a simple, creative way to show appreciation to your host and add a touch of holiday cheer to their season. Whether personalized with a special message or showcasing seasonal designs Christmas tags are a charming and practical gift they’ll surely love and use.

The first set of Tags I created I kept simple using a very old Martha Steward snowflake punch. I will end up saving the three snowflakes and they will show up on another project I ended up creating.

I used Kraft Cardstock, Cherry Cobbler Cardstock, and Basic White Cardstock. I’m currently loving Kraft Cardstocks, and colors for a lot of my Holiday projects.

I had seen a DIY project featuring holly leaves with buttons and wanted to try it out. Adding this to a Christmas tag seemed like the perfect idea. The patterned paper on the tag adds a beautiful pop of color.

For the last two tags I created, I used a Christmas Tree stamp set I have and then fussy cut them out. You could use a stamp set with coordinating dies, or a punch.

While in the photo they look like I stamped them with black ink, I stamped them with dark green ink. These would have been beautifully done with gold embossing.

December Daily – Story #10

One of the things that I have loved including in my December Daily over the years has been stories from outside of our home, community, and normal traditions.

For me, the joy of Christmas extends far beyond the way we celebrate in our own home. This season is about the world coming together to share in the magic of something truly special.

Story 10 features the heartwarming story of this year’s Rockefeller Tree, and it’s truly beautiful. Last year, in my December Daily, I shared the rich history of the Rockefeller Tree, which was such a wonderful addition.

It’s amazing to reflect on both the past and present of this iconic holiday tradition.

I also included some photos I found online from the “Christmas Together” event that Katherine the Princess of Wales has put together. I am so very happy to see her at this event this year after all she has been through in 2025.
