I’m finally kicking off my “Stamping in Your Memory-Keeping Projects” series! Something that has been on my heart for quite a while. For the longest time, I felt stuck!! (ever feel that when with a creative project?) on The question – how to bring all my ideas together in a way that felt meaningful and helpful. I’ve wanted to share not just the how-to, but also the why behind using stamps to add personal touches, creativity, and intention to your memory-keeping.
Now that I’ve found the right rhythm and vision, I’m excited to finally start sharing everything with you—from simple techniques to inspiring ways to tell your stories, one stamped image at a time.
I’m calling this series “Simply Stamped Stories”. Every Friday in the month of may I will be sharing different projects with you to show case how I use stamping in my everyday memory-keeping projects.
Introduction:
This first week might be a tiny bit boring at the beginning of the video—just keeping it real—because I’m covering the absolute basics. Think: “What even is stamping?” and “Why do I need that weird pink eraser-looking thing?”
I won’t be diving deep into brand debates or turning this into a stamp pad showdown. Honestly, you can buy from whatever company you love (or whatever your craft store has on sale). I’m simply sharing what I personally use and why—so you can skip the guesswork and get straight to the fun, inky part.
All of my basic supplies, companies and brands I love will be listed under the project for this week.
Crafty Project:
This week, I’m kicking things off by sharing a 6×8 page I created using supplies I already had on hand. In the coming weeks, I’ll be sharing multiple projects each week to highlight just how fun—and versatile—stamps and ink can be in your memory-keeping projects.
This week, I chose a simple yet intentional project to demonstrate just how effective even the most basic stamping techniques can be. I used ink pads to add color to the tops of my smaller cards, and incorporated stamps both on the mini card set and on the wooden heart accent above the page title.
These are straightforward techniques, but they add a polished, cohesive feel to the entire layout—proving that you don’t need complicated tools or processes to create something beautiful and impactful.
I love finding different and unquie ways to use my stamps, and ink in my memory-keeping projects.
Basic Supplies:
Stampin Up Product // Any product that I have from Stampin Up are items that I have collected over the last 15 years of not only purchasing from the, but also from being a full time demonstrator and sellilng the product. I am not longer a Stampin up Demonstrator, nor do I purchase product from them. You can refer to this VIDEO as to why I have parted ways with this company.
Concord & 9th // Currently my go to company for inks, cardstock, fun dies and creative stamps.
Ali Edwards // My favorite company for everyday story telling with stamps and product. The only thing I choose not to get through Ali Edwards are her stamp pads.
My Amazon Storefront // Anything that purchase from Amazon I do earn a commission on. I have created a storefront where you can easily see, and purchase any of the items that I am using.
