Craft Room Organization – Die Cutting

Today I wanted to share another space in my studio. This week I want to share my Die Cutting area, and how I have organized my Raskog carts from Ikea.

I’ve had these two Raskog carts from Ikea since I moved into this larger space.

They have held several different things over the years, when I re-arranged all my furniture in this room I made a Die Cut, Embossing area.

I have two of the Raskog carts in this teal color. You can find these at Ikea HERE.

They do not have this this teal color anymore, but they have a gray/green color that is pretty close.

I’ve taken one of the top baskets and flipped it upside down so that my big shot could sit on top of it.

In the other cart I have my most used dies, and embossing folders.

My Dies are organized in clear bins I purchased on amazon. I love these clear bins. You can get them HERE.

I’ve created my own dividers for Current Mini Catalog, Shapes & Stitched, Annual Catalog.

This is what works for my current work flow when I’m designing classes, and put together kits.

The middle baskets hold other Big shot plates, and other retired dies, and embossing folders.

Most of these items I don’t need access as much as the ones in the top baskets.

When I first re-did the room back in April I had no intentions of putting anything at the end of the table in the middle of the room.

I just ended up working perfectly for this space, and for my die cutting.

Thank you for stopping by, and checking out my die cutting organization.

Next week I will be sharing another space from my Studio with you, so make sure you come back.
