I’m so excited to share this new project that I’ve been dreaming up and bringing to life! The Simple Everyday Snapshot notebook is a fresh and creative approach to memory-keeping, blending several styles into one beautifully functional design.
Whether you’re capturing everyday moments, documenting special milestones, or just looking for an easy way to keep your memories in one place, this 5×7 notebook is perfect for you. It’s simple, it’s fun, and it’s all about celebrating the beauty of your everyday life.
For the past few months, I’ve been binge-watching process videos featuring the Everyday Explorers Mini Notebook Documenting Kits, and I’ve absolutely fallen in love with the concept. The simplicity of documenting those little everyday moments really resonates with me.
But as much as I adore the idea, I realized the size didn’t quite fit what I was looking for, and I found myself struggling with the bound notebook style. It just wasn’t the right match for my creative flow. This is why I have never been able to settle into Travelers notebook memory-keeping.
So, I started dreaming up my own version! Something that captures the same simplicity and charm but works better for how I like to document my memories. Let me tell you, I’m so excited about where this idea is heading!
When it comes to my style of memory-keeping, there are two absolute must-haves:
1️⃣ Print & Go Simplicity: I need a system where I can easily print photos without the hassle of resizing. Let’s be honest—resizing photos isn’t my strong suit, and I want my documenting process to feel fun, not frustrating.
2️⃣ Flexibility Over Bound Notebooks: While bound notebooks are great for some, they just don’t work for me. I need something that gives me more creative freedom and flexibility to move pages around or add in extras.
Simple Everyday Snapshots:
With those two must-haves in mind, I started brainstorming how I could create something using supplies I already have. I wanted to test out this approach to memory-keeping.
It’s been so fun experimenting and bringing this idea to life.
This project is all about flexibility and creativity for me. It’s something I can float in and out of, with no pressure to make it look a certain way or finish it within a specific timeframe.
I’m giving myself the freedom to simply enjoy the process, experiment, and get a feel for this style of memory-keeping. It’s about capturing the little moments without overthinking—just letting the creativity flow.
I would love to know your thoughts on this style of project! Let me know in the comments and don’t worry Project Life isn’t going anywhere. I will be back on Tuesday to look at finishing up my 2024 Family album.
