Today, I’m excited to share my Project Life system with you! Over the years, I’ve found a way to keep up with this project consistently, and I can’t wait to walk you through my process. From organizing photos to documenting memories, I’ll show you how I make it all work year after year.
This week got off to a rough start as Violet got very sick with a winter cold / flu. Then she had a bad reaction to something that had hives all week. I’ve had my hands full with household stuff and taking care of Violet while trying to avoid the sickness that seems to be bouncing off every wall in our house!
There’s something so exciting about starting a fresh year in my Family Project Life Album. This year is no different! That first page, the blank spaces waiting to be filled with our stories, always sparks so much creativity and joy.
If I could only choose one memory-keeping project to do all year, without a doubt, it would be this album. Capturing the little moments, the everyday magic, and the big milestones of our family. This is what fills my heart the most.
I create my Project Life album in a monthly format, choosing a different set of products each month. This keeps my pages feeling fresh and creative.
This year, I’m diving into my stash and using older, classic core kits I’ve had for years. My mission is to make the most of what I already own! Rediscovering hidden treasures from past purchases and bringing them to life in my projects. I can’t wait to see what I create with everything I’ve collected over the years!
Capturing everyday moments is very important to me. Seeing how Kayla filled out the whiteboard with the school schedule and how she spelled girls to sound like Dre from Despicable Me.
This is something that her daddy always says it brings me so much joy. That is a piece of our life and our story.
After The Everyday Photos
I have a simple setup for the months with Everyday photos on either side and other stories from throughout the month in the middle.
I’ve also taken the time to prepare my insert pages by picking my page protectors, setting products aside, and at times printing photos, or placing them in the proper space.
Next week you will see me start to work through each of these inserts to bring it all together.
