Getting Started With Kids Albums

Getting Started With Kids Albums

When my kids were born of course I started memory-keeping albums for them. All three of them started with traditional style pages in post-bound albums.

These albums were event and milestone-based. I wasn’t thinking about more everyday moments back then, and I had no idea how it would look once they were older, and in school.

I just loved creating beautiful traditional-style layouts.

When I was putting together pages based on events, and milestones it wasn’t all that hard to keep up with one or two kid albums.

Once I hit 3 kids and wanted to document more everyday moments it became very difficult to keep up with all the layouts I wanted to create.

A Quick Album Overview:

Here is a quick look at how the kid’s album started, and how they are currently looking. I approach each album much like I approach my Project Life Family Album.

This will give you a good look at my style, and what is important to me to include in each album.

Keeping Up With All 3 Albums:

Now I have developed a system for my kid’s albums that helps me stay current. This system includes using Project Life App and adding traditional pages.

The most important thing you can do is create a system that works for you and will help you achieve your objective with each album.

My goal is not to take hundreds of photos and tell every story of every photo.

I want each of my kids to have an overview of their day-to-day lives, with highlights of certain aspects such as school, or holidays.

In my Life Simply Documented Membership Community I share how several aspects of this journey with members. I would love for you to join us!
