It is that time of the year when everyone starts sharing “New Year Resolutions.” I enjoy reading what people are committed to, sometimes I’m inspired by what by what others are doing.
I traded in my “New Year’s Resolutions” a few years go for something I felt was much simpler.
One Little Word has become my favorite thing about starting a new year, and I look forward to connecting with my the word I choose all year long.
{One Little Word Mini Album}
I have found that it works best for me if I have some kind of Project Life Kit to work with when I’m putting together my One Little Word Album.
Last year I used the Hello Lovely Project Life Kit by Stampin’ Up! You can still get this card kit HERE. I purchased several of these card kits, and accessory kits to make sure that I had enough supplies.
The 6×8 album is the perfect size for this project. I used the Basic Black Re-inker to re-color the spine of the album from brown to black.
My word for last year was “Thrive.” It was the perfect word for me last year. The Hello Lovely Card kit worked perfectly with everything that I did within my album.
Here are a few photos from my album. This album has both a mix of photos, and prompts that you respond to through writing.
This year my word is “Believe,” and I am using the Everyday Core Kit from Becky Higgins. You can purchase that core HERE.
Here are few of the photos of how my album is starting out. You can follow me on Instagram HERE if you want to see more of my album coming together over this next month.
You can pick up many of the supplies I’m using to put my album together HERE in my online store, or by clicking on any of the photos below.

Love this!! I would love for you to show us through the year how your album is coming along! Just wondering…how do you make the smaller divider? Like the one you show with a saying? It is the length of the album but the width is not very wide. Do you cut a protector for this or purchase them?
Thanks for this!
