Welcome back to Project Life Weekly. This week I want to share how working in my Project Life Family Album has helped me with my struggles with anxiety.
I would venture to say it doesn’t matter the memory-keeping project I’m working on. What matters is working with the pictures and products.
My Project Life Family Albums happens to be the project I like staying current in, and is one of my favorite yearly projects which makes it easy to dive into every week.
I have needed a little time to myself recently with the crazy school year starting and my Project Life Family has been the perfect space for me to catch my breath.
Using Traditional Layouts in my Project Life Album will always be something I love doing.
I think sometimes we get too caught up in what “we should” or “shouldn’t” do in our memory-keeping projects. The truth is these are your albums, your layouts, your memories, and your time spent bringing it all together. Do what makes you happy always.
There’s no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ way to approach this project. The most important thing is that you feel connected to it and excited about it.
Instead, only do the project because you love it! Don’t take on a project just because you feel like you ‘should’ do it.
Both layouts I’m using in June came from the Pre-made layouts that I have worked on over the years. This is one of the many reasons I love working on layouts without photos.
It was extremely easy to grab a summer layout and use it in June for extra photos I had.
Looking Back
I’m so grateful I discovered memory-keeping all those years ago. It has helped me through some really tough times.
There’s so much joy in not only putting the albums together but also in looking back over the years—reliving the good times, the hard times, the fun moments, and everything in between.
