Over the past few weeks, I’ve been busy catching up on my 2024 Project Life Family Album.
While I’m not too far behind, I’m aiming to finish it by the end of the month. I would like to start 2025 without anything from my 2024 Project Life Family Album needing to be done.
This week I want to share with you how I’m finishing July. I loved how this month ended up looking in this album.
With July being as hot and awful as it was I’m surprised at how many “extra” things made it into my album.
I felt like I could handle the heat at the beginning of the month, and so I had lots of things I wanted to document.
Truth be told the reason I got so far behind was because of the awful heat we dealt with.
I got the idea of documenting the heat by stamping out the temperature from Ali Edwards. I either saw her doing it on Instagram or YouTube and loved the idea and the way it looked. It was a little bit more work than I originally intended it to be. However, I feel like it was worth the extra effort.
December Daily – Story #6
I love creating my December Daily pages in this format because the pages are finished by the end of the day.
Most years, my approach to December Daily is pretty relaxed.
I either catch up on the weekends or set aside time every few days to tackle a few pages.
The “A Page A Day” method has never really been my style. It just hasn’t seemed realistic with the business of December. I’ve always been okay with not wrapping it up perfectly by the 24th or 25th!
This year I have been able to sit down every day either first thing in the morning, or right before bed, and create my pages.
I am making this a little bit harder on myself by using PicMonkey to add all the extra bits.
However, this is just something I doing to make it feel more like scrapbooking. I enjoy those extra pieces and I don’t mind the extra 10 or 15 minutes it takes me.
The downside to this is the cost of printing these 6×8 pictures at the end of the month. I have so many prints that I need to get printed within the Project Life app but I am very nervous about the cost.
