I’ve been creating Project Life Family Albums for years, and over time, I’ve developed a system that works really well for me..
Most years I am finished with the current year album by the end of the year, or by the end of January of the following year.
This has always been my goal because once you get behind it can be hard to find the motivation to get back into a creative space.
This year the Summer Heat rolled in and it wreaked me. I ended up getting very behind in all of my creative projects.
I’m finally feeling the motivation and inspriatoin to get back into my Family Album.
Today I’m sharing a look at May 2024 and what I had already done, along with how I wrapped that month up.
It important for me to remember that when I get into a space where I am feeling stressed about how far behind I that I keep it simple, and approch it from a reflective space.
I won’t always have the little details that I would normal have working on the project in real time.
On the back of my monthly calendar, I did a simple, traditional layout. I had a few photos from our yard that I wanted to include.
I love the space that this provides for extra items.
I’ve also been trying to use up more of my stash, which consists of mostly Ali Edwards products from over the years.
One of my favorite things that I have enjoyed doing more of this year is adding dash lines everywhere.
Project Life is one of the easiest memory-keeping projects for me to catch up on because of the systems I have in place.
Which memory-keeping projects do you find it hardest to catch up?
