Welcome back to my Simply Stamped Stories Series here in the month of May. If you missed the very first week you can check that post out HERE. This week I am sharing 3 different projects with you.
In each of the three projects I’m sharing, I’ll be turning a stamped image into the star of the show—boldly making it the highlight and focal point of the entire design.
All three of my projects come in different sizes and formats because I wanted to show you just how fun and flexible stamping can be in your memory-keeping—no matter what kind of project you’re working on!
Project #1 – Bloom & Grow
This 9×12 will end up living in my 12×12 Family album somewhere in either March or April.
I love how this project turned out—even though some of my inks blended and it’s not ‘perfect.’ But that’s the beauty of it! Perfection isn’t the goal when using stamps in your memory-keeping—it’s all about creativity and having fun.
This page would have looked great with the 5×7 photo which would have left less space at the top of the page for stamping.
Supplies I Used For This Project:
Concord & 9th Inks – I used three different ink colors on this project.
Concord & 9th Pattern Paper – This paper is a basic set of patterns.
Stampin Up Flower Stamp Set – This is retired and not available.
Project #2 – Seasons Of Life
For my second project, I put together a layout in my Simple Everyday Snapshots.
This layout is the perfect example of why I created this notebook—to capture those small, everyday moments I want to highlight or share, but in a fun, simple way that doesn’t take forever to put together!
This notebook was created from an old Erin Condren Notebook and the sizes 5-1/4 x 7-1/4 so that 5×7 which are easy to get printed anywhere and will fit perfectly.
Supplies I Used For This Project:
Erin Condren Notebook – I cut a notebook down and recoiled it.
Ali Edwards Stamps – I love all of her stamps.
Avery Sticker Paper – I use this for all of the journaling I type out.
Project #3 – Delightful
My last project is a 12 x 12 page that I created for Violet’s album. I ran out of time to add my journaling to this project. However, I will add it to the spots under “Delightful” once I get back to it.
Supplies I Used For This Project:
12 x 12 Cardstock – Old Close To My Heart Cardstock
Echo Park Paper – There is only a sheet of this paper left that I could find.
I’ll be back next week with another set of inspiring projects as we keep exploring all the creative, playful, and meaningful ways you can use stamps in your memory-keeping. From adding personal touches to telling deeper stories, there’s so much fun still to come—so stay tuned!
